Tired of winter? Me too, but you can get a little taste of summer every morning with one of these creamy, nutrient-packed smoothies! It may seem crazy to head into the “Polar Vortex” with a smoothie in hand, but break out your best gloves and give it a try! Each serving contains 1 cup of kale - rich in Vitamins A, C & K and in season all winter!
Each of these recipes serves 2. I’d recommend pouring the milk into the blender first. This allows the blades to move freely and will ensure the kale is completely chopped (I promise you won’t notice it!) Enjoy!
Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie

- 1 medium banana, peeled
- 2 tbsp. natural peanut butter
- 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 stevia packet

Whole Life Challenge Check-In
This has been a rough week for the Whole Life Challenge. The good news is that a lot of my new habits feel like old habits and no longer feel incredibly painful. The bad news is that because they feel so normal, I’ve been forgetting to log my points and follow along with my team.
Each week the Whole Life Challenge presents a new lifestyle challenge. This last one was to spend 10 minutes each day in meditation. With this in mind, I taught a restorative yoga class this week and ended the class with a nice long beach visualization during savasana. I felt so good after this class that I wanted to share the resources below… Namaste!
